SA Banker

The SA Banker is an industry focussed publication, circulated amongst the members of the IOB.  The publication began life as the South African Banker's Journal, printed and circulated monthly from the IOB's inception in 1904.

The original format of the journal was an A5 bound book, taking its current name and A4 soft cover format in February 1968.  Currently, the SA Banker is distributed to more than 20 000 members of the IOB locally and internationally.

The early publications of the Journal largely reflected the activities of the banks including the minutes of the Annual General Meetings of the banks and staff appointments.  In contrast, the current focus of the SA Banker is global, national, local economic, finance sector, and current affairs.

The SA Banker is being currently being re-launched so look out for an exciting new issue April / May.
