IOBSA Appoints a New CEO

The Institute of Bankers in South Africa NPC (IOBSA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Garth Keshwar as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from 1 October 2023.

Mr Keshwar is a seasoned banker having started his banking career in 2010 with ABSA up until his most recent position of Product Portfolio Lead/Head at FNB.

He has developed key skills through his years of being in the financial industry. A few of these being strategic planning, performance management, stakeholder engagement & business development.
