Nedbank’s Avo Super App Continues to Grow

Nedbank's digital mall super app Avo, continues to see strong growth.

Launched in 2020 at the beginning of South Africa’s national lockdown, Nedbank’s Avo super app has now reached over 1.5 million customers and over 21000 businesses.

Offering both business to consumer and business t o business services, Avo continues to be a top performing digital mall.

Customers can buy groceries, airtime, liquor, takeaways, home services such as plumbing and even cars. Recently a Ferrari was sold through Avo.

“Avo’s free delivery service aims to deliver food and alcohol to the customer’s door in less than 60 minutes from the moment the order has been confirmed. This is becoming a massive help to both businesses and consumers, especially considering that food deliveries can push costs up by an average of 30%,”.

“Avo is now selling menu items of over 800 restaurants and liquor outlets – with a fleet of over 10 000 drivers and growing.”
